Doctor's appointment - Day 64


So, I saw the doctor at Alizonne this morning and we agreed that although I'm about 5.9kg away from where I should be to phase off she's going to move me on.

My appointment is next week Monday, at which point the therapist is going to move me to Phase 2. On the one hand I'm delighted - protein at last! On the other it's a shame I'm not at the goal I should be at, but I'm just not willing to take the risk on the May trips messing up all the hard work.

Hopefully I can drop around 1.5kg this week, so I'm only 4-4.5kg off. And off course, there's always the chance my body loves Phase 2 and starts speeding up ;)

Most of the fat on the side of my tummy is now gone, so what I'm left with at the moment is excess skin (scary!) but she wants to keep 2 plates right on the front by my belly button as there's still some there. The 10 remaining endermologie plates will go around my thighs.

Hi big girl well I started the diet today !! been a bit shaky and strange feeling bit confused over the veg i had omlette tonight with 200gms of veg and i did a few aubergine chips in the oven have i done right i didnt count the aubergine as part of my 200gms ,i am confused and my partner has just said i wont lose weight eating how i have today; i have had oatmeal for breakfast hot choc 3 hours later then tomato soup yuk!! with a very big green salad then the omlette and veg and later tenish it will be vanilla dessert and a bit of rhubarb,am i eating too much please tell me HELP!!!!! SUSI

Hi Susi Q, you're on the right track - keep going!

Breakfast - perfect
Hot choc 3 hours later - perfect
Lunch - soup with salad is great, just make sure you have at least 200g of salad and I usually use only veg from the "free" list for this
Omelette with 200g veg for dinner - perfect, the aubergine is a "free" veg so you can have this in addition to the 200g max list veg
Evening snack - I've never had rhubarb with one of the puddings, have generally had had snacks on their own without any veg, but this doesn't mean it's wrong - check with the clinic

Sounds like you're doing great! Just make sure you have your 2 litres of water and 1 tablespoon of olive oil - I usually use 1/2 as a salad dressing for lunch and 1/2 as part of stir fry for dinner

Hi Susi, you can take paracetamol, so if you have a headache take them - it is quite common during your first few days as your body starts to detox.

I usually just neck down the Quinton halfway through eating so I can mask the aftertase with the rest of my food, but you can also mix it with whatever you're eating, eg soup, oatmeal etc

I think it's quite normal to be emotional. You can see from my blog I've had some seriously emotional times, and off course we are all impacted during THAT time of the month! Stick with it - today was the first day of the rest of your life ;)

YOU ARE FAB THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMENTS ,SORRY YOU HAVE HAD A BAD WEEK REALLY FEEL FOR YOU,TO BE HONEST WITH YOU I AM DREADING THIS WHOLE REGIME,WHEN I WENT TO THE CLINIC LAST WEEK THE DOCTOR FOUND I HAD A HERNIA !COULDNT BELIEVE IT WHAT WITH ALL MY OTHER PROBLEMS !! ANYWAY WILL HAVE TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS I AM HAVING TO GO FOR TWO TREATMENTS A WEEK SOOOO EXPENSIVE HOPE IT WILL BE WORTH IT YOU TAKE CARE ,SUSI.X

I'm trying to be philosophical about it, especially when I put on my skinny jeans this morning ;) They say you should look at your weight loss over a 4-week period to accurately gauge your average, as this takes away the impact of 1 bad week

We all have bad weeks and in my case it must be because of my low blood pressure and period. Will see what the scale says tonight when I go for my treatment.

Take take, it will SO be worth it
