I spoke to the doctor at Alizonne this morning and she believes based on what I've said I'm having that I'm eating the right things, but agrees that even though I was weighed at different times of day it doesn't make sense that I'm suddenly showing a 1kg increase.
Based on this we've agreed to try a few things over the next few days:
·Eliminate the permitted Phase 3 vegetables and stick to those allowed in Phase 1 & Phase 2 – which I was already doing anyway
·Have no bread or weetabix
·Have porridge oats
·Try low fat lactofree milk/yogurt, but reduce the amount I have to compensate for the fact that it isn’t fat free. If that doesn’t work then reduce daily olive oil allowance to compensate
No hard and fast answers unfortunately, but my home scale does say I’ve lost a bit at least, so it isn’t continuing to go up thankfully. Geez!

Weigh in and end of Phase 2 - after Day 126
I had my Alizonne doctor's appointment and blood work was all ok.
Weight updates are:
Current weight - 82.9kg (1.8kg loss in just over a week) - 27kg total lost to date
Weight in stone - 13st exactly - 4st 4lbs lost to date, or 59.5lbs
The best bit is I've hit Phase 2 target so officially moved to Phase 3 today (Day 127).
I still have 5.9-7.9kg to lose to hit my target weight of 75-77kg, which I need to hit before moving off Phase 3, which the doctor thinks will take me around 4 weeks or so.
Although I could phase off earlier, there's no real point as I might as well do this properly, and then move onto Phase 4 onwards in June, taking me to an end date of around end June.
After all, what's another 4 weeks after 4 months!

I'm back - Day 117
I got back this morning, and had an Alizonne session this evening.
I am absolutely delighted to say that my parents are going to be ok, although their recovery will be slow. Mum will be discharged in the next week or two, but will then be in a wheelchair for a further three months before progressing to a walker because of her leg operations.
Dad is still in ICU but is now fully out of the induced coma, and getting stronger every day. He is being dialysed for his kidneys, which have weakened as a result of the accident, and we don't know yet whether this is a short- or long term requirement; but he has no brain damage or paralysis - thank God.
Money is going to be tight for a while so my plan is still to reduce treatments down to every fortnight, and given where I am now this should help take me the rest of the way there.
Now for weight updates:
Current weight - 84.7kg (3.6kg loss in 3 weeks) - 25.2kg total lost to date
Weight in stone - 13st4lbs - 4st exactly lost to date, or 55.6lbs
While I was away I even had to give up on 2 of my pairs of jeans and buy some new ones - in a Size 14!! I've never been a Size 14 before ;)
I also bought a lovely pair of Size 12 jeans, which I can do up at the button, I just can't get the zip up yet.
1.7kg to go to the end of Phase 2, with a bit of luck maybe next week I'll hit it

Waist - 91cm (2cm loss since last measurements - 13cm loss in total - 19cm to go)

Weigh in - Day 89
I had my Alizonne session today and have lost a surprising 3.3kg (7.3lbs) in 2 weeks - which for me is really good. Amazing what a major trauma does .......
This means I finally hit my Phase 1 goal of 89.9kg and I have now broken the 200lb mark, weighing 198.2lb (14st 2lbs)
I now need to get to 83kg before moving to Phase 3, but given there is now no hurry with our cancelled holiday I guess I don't need to panic as much anymore
